| Family HistoryIntroductionThis section allows you to access information about family history sources. The main sources of records used by family historians in the Record Office are church records and census returns. You will not find civil registration records (i.e. births, marriages and deaths) in the Record Office.In addition to the aforementioned sources you may also find information relating to your ancestors in other sources of records held in the Record Office. You may find the answers to your queries in the section Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS).
