As part of the Durham Miner Project one of our team members has delivered a series of presentations at local venues.
Each presentation lasted for two hours and covered the subject of "How to approach your local mining history research in local libraries, museums and archives". The presentations took place in the informal group settings of our course venues. The first half of the presentation focused on general local mining history and the second half on mining history specific to the local area.
Please see the Presentations Timetable for details.
