Countywide
Campaign - Help to Reduce, Re-use and Recycle your Rubbish
(( Rethink Rubbish in County Durham ))
(( County Durham Environment Trust ))
Britain is often thought of as lagging behind our European neighbours when it
comes to environmental issues.
But Durham County Council is aiming to catch up
to our continental cousins with the introduction of a range of projects to help
us all be a bit more environmentally friendly.
In partnership with the district councils the County Council held a County-wide
waste awareness programme to get us all thinking about what we do with our
rubbish.
