Day Care for Older People

The day units we have developed are attached to residential homes and offer support to people who want to stay living in their homes in the community.

The units provide facilities such as hairdressing, chiropody services, advice on DSS benefits and recreational activities. Although the day units are not part of the residential home, clients are frequently invited to social gatherings and entertainment organised for the residents of our homes. Staff at the day units are trained to continually monitor the condition of people visiting the unit and refer them to care managers if there are any concerns regarding health or general well-being. The units are open five days a week from 9 am until 5pm and we provide transport to and from the units.
We can provide light refreshment in the morning and the afternoon and a two-course lunch and afternoon tea is included in the daily charge. Find out about our T day care units   for older people.
