Access and Pupil Services

We seek to ensure that all young people access the appropriate education to which they are entitled and that, where necessary, support is provided to encourage a positive attitude towards attendance and achievement.
We deal with: T Education Welfare Service   : T School Attendance   T Fam ily Holidays during Term Time   T Employment of Children   T Child Protection   School Admissions: T Nursery Admissions   T Primary School Admissions & Appeals   T Secondary School Admissions & Appeals   Home to School Transport and Transport Monitoring: T Primary School Home to School Transport   T Secondary School Home to School Transport   See also: T Road Safety   and T Safer Routes to School   T Pupil Exclusions   The Commissioning of Provision for Children Educated other than at School Procedures for Children Educated at Home General Health and Education Matters T ACCESS   - advice and support to young people at risk of social exclusion and to their parents, carers, educational establishment and other agencies T IMPACT   Alternative Provision for Key Stage 4 pupils T LAC   - Looked After Children Education Team Education for Social Inclusion Transition Programmes at KS2/3, 3/4 and Post 16 KS3/4 Urban 2 Citizenship in the Community Programme Primary REAch Project In addition, the Head of Access & Inclusion has a lead responsibility within T Education   for working with all sector schools and other agencies as appropriate with regard to the following: Social Inclusion The Crime and Disorder Act including Community Safety and Youth Justice T Behaviour Support Plan   Health T Children in Public Care   Behaviour on School Transport
