We updated our website, implementing a totally
new design and navigation system during November 2003.
We hope you will agree that it looks much more modern and is a lot easier to
navigate.
To help you as much as possible we have provided some information
about the changes we have made, below.
New Sections
The site is split into 13 main sections.
These are based
on the
APLAWS
system
set out by central government.
The links below will take you to each section
under which you will find relevant sub-sections.
We have also changed the way you navigate our site.
We
have rearranged the navigation so that further information, useful links,
contacts and FAQs, relevant to a particular subject, can be found in the boxes
on the right hand side of the web pages.
We have implemented a clickable breadcrumb trail, which appears at the top of
every web page.
The breadcrumb indicates the location of an individual page
within the website structure.
For further information refer to our
T
help
page.

We have updated our accessibility features to include 'Access Keys'.
For those
users having difficulty using a mouse, you can now navigate via the keyboard.
Please read our

We have also incorporated more use of colour to help you remember
where you are within the site.
Popular pages are the top 10 pages on our website that receive the
most number of hits every month and hot topics provide links to topics of
interest, and events happening locally.
