Research Service

The Research Service carries out research using all the sources in Durham County Record Office. It is intended to help people who want information but who cannot visit in person.

Experienced researchers will undertake the work, but they can also call upon the expertise of other Record Office staff to provide a service based on an unrivalled knowledge of our holdings.

Our Research Service information leaflet provides more details of this service.

You can print a copy of the application form and send with a cheque/postal order made payable to Durham County Council.

Or you can email an application form and telephone to pay by debit/credit card (0191 383 3253)
