Planning
Durham County Council (DCC) holds information about common land, village greens and Local Agenda 21. We also provide specialist advice covering subjects such as conservation, biodiversity, woodland, coastal protection, the County Durham Heritage Coast, and historic and listed buildings. Although DCC is the planning authority for the area the district and borough councils are responsible for deciding most planning applications.
